Ernakulam St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral stands as one of the oldest Orthodox churches in the region. Acquiring 28 cents of land in 1922, the first Holy Qurbana was celebrated on 6 October 1926.
For a century we have gathered in this place to worship, serve and be formed in the ancient faith of the Malankara Church — the mother church of many parishes in Ernakulam city.
മലങ്കര ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സുറിയാനി സഭയിലെ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് കൊച്ചി ഭദ്രാസനത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ ദേവാലയം, എറണാകുളം പട്ടണത്തിലെ പല ദേവാലയങ്ങളുടെയും മാതൃദേവാലയം — നൂറ് വർഷത്തെ ചരിത്രവും പേറിക്കൊണ്ട് ശതാബ്ദിയുടെ നിറവിൽ എറണാകുളം സെൻ്റ് മേരീസ് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് കത്തീഡ്രൽ ഇന്നും തലയുയർത്തി നില്ക്കുന്നു.
ഒരുമയോടെ ഐക്യത്തോടെ സേവന നിരതയോടെ നമുക്ക് ഇനിയും മുന്നേറാം. എല്ലാവർക്കും എല്ലാ വിധമായ പ്രാർത്ഥനാശംസകളും നേരുന്നു.
